Cold Boot Attack

A physical attack that extracts encryption keys from a computer's RAM by exploiting data remanence — the brief period after power-off when memory contents persist. Attackers freeze RAM chips to extend this window. XColdPro's EMBO protocol limits the exposure by dropping decrypted material and terminating the process as soon as a threat is detected.
