BootVault Nyxor — The Complete Protocol Stack
The edition that carries every XColdPro protocol, built for multi-party treasuries and for self-custody at the high end of the risk range.
What Nyxor includes
Nyxor is Frost and HellBound plus three protocols exclusive to it: SeedVault, Citadel and Blackhole Singularity. In total it carries six — XBurnPro, Omega, Lazarus, SeedVault, Citadel and Blackhole Singularity — over the same AES-256-GCM foundation the whole range shares.
Citadel, multi-party approval
Citadel coordinates M-of-N multisignature approval between air-gapped devices, so a transaction needs several cosigners and no single machine or person can move funds alone. Each cosigner works from their own device; the approvals meet without any of them going online.
SeedVault, seed redundancy
SeedVault splits a seed into shares using Shamir secret sharing, so recovery needs a threshold of shares rather than one written phrase in one place. It addresses the failure mode where the seed is lost or destroyed, not the one where it is stolen.
Who it is for
The edition is aimed at DAO and corporate treasuries, family offices and individuals in the seven-figure range — the cases where approval has to be shared between people and where losing a single device or a single person cannot be allowed to lose the holdings.
Defence in layers, not a single guarantee
The premise of the edition is that no one control covers every scenario: remote compromise, physical coercion, a lost seed and the holder's death are different problems with different answers. Nyxor is the edition that carries all of those answers at once.
Platforms
Windows and macOS are supported today. A Linux build is announced as coming and is not yet available.
