BlackHole — Void Lock Security Engine

A protection layer that transforms the seed you back up, so the backed-up material on its own does not open the wallet in any other software.

What it changes

With a standard BIP39 seed, the phrase is the wallet: whoever holds it has the funds, in any wallet software, immediately. BlackHole separates the two, so what you store is not by itself enough to reconstruct access.

More than one factor

Access requires the protected material you keep, credentials that exist only in your head and are never stored, and licensed XColdPro software to reverse the layer. Someone holding only part of that chain holds no access. Operational details are provided to licensed users only, and are deliberately not published here.

The trade-off, stated plainly

This is opt-in, and turning it on trades portability for resistance to coercion: a protected seed is not a phrase you can type into another wallet, and recovery runs through XColdPro. That is the cost, and it should be a deliberate choice rather than a default.
